Wow. It’s been a while since I have watched a documentary on food and nutrition. For several years I lived a vegetarian lifestyle and to be honest, I think I felt my best during those years. This documentary is a great starting point if you are interested in “alternative medicine” and nutrition.

Here are a few notes I gathered while watching this –

1. Raw Cacao – is considered to be one of the highest concentrated sources of antioxidants, is extremely high in magnesium & is packed with iron.

2. Spirulina – one of the best ways to get protein out there. Coincidentally, my cat used to devour spirulina like it was chocolate milk or something.

3. Niacin (or Vitamin B3) – works wonders for people who struggle with depression. It also helps people who struggle with alcoholism.
