I’ve always been a fan of juicing, but this weekend I watched Fat Sick and Nearly Dead on Netflix and it reminded me why I was a fan. The benefits of juicing organic vegetables and fruits are numerous. Here are a few things that juicing has done in my life –
- Makes my skin illuminate.
- Cleanses me from the inside out, causing my eyes, teeth, hair & nails to look amazing.
- Weight loss
- As much energy as coffee but without the crash or addiction
- Mental clarity
I am sure I can think of a few more, but you get the point. The benefits of juicing vary for each person but whatever your health issues may be, juicing can help. It’s the quickest way to get essential nutrients into your body. If you don’t have a juicer at home, stop by your closest health food store or Whole Foods and grab a juice from their bar.
Below are several green juice recipes to help get you started. Cheers to health!
