Our Train Adventure

Del Mar Station

Clarence and I have been talking about having a train date since we first started dating over two years ago. Since we didn’t have any plans this weekend and we are celebrating 8 months of marriage (time is flying), we figured it was now or never. The great thing about the metro is you can get a day pass for $5 and get off and on at as many stops as you want. When we got on the train we noticed a crowd of colorful kids so we got off at the Chinatown Exit with them and discovered Hard. We didn’t stay for the music but I did get some fun photos. Next we got off at Union Station and hung out on Olvera Street for a while. I love the culture. Later we hit up Hollywood to visit my favorite store Amoeba. That place is out of control with it’s music and film selection. We had to get some Hollywood grub, and usually we eat at The Griddle Cafe but decided to try Murakami because of the incredible Yelp reviews. It was AMAZING, I had the best Mixed Sashimi Salad. FInally, we checked out some threads. I hit up Free People & Urban Outfitters while Clarence hit up Hollywood Suit Outlet. What a day!
