There are so many homeless people in LA. Whenever I pass them on the street I wonder what their story is. Don’t they have families? How did they end up on the street? One time I had the chance to interview the homeless population of Pasadena to see if they qualified for housing. Some of their stories were fascinating. They left home for numerous reasons, but more often than not there was some kind of abuse involved. Michael Pharaoh is the 22 year young photographer responsible for capturing these gorgeous images of our neighbors on the street.
